Designed inside a 20+ vet equine practice, consideration was given to the complexities of mid to large-sized practices, with issues including multiple locations, multiple business units, advanced inventory control (with transfer in/out from central pharmacies), advanced vet compensation models (including commissions paid on cash collected), invoicing at time of billing based on specific veterinarian and profit center, split and retroactive billing for racetrack practices and some of the most advanced business analytics required for the equine PIMS market.
Medical records were the foundation of the HVMS and additional integrations have been added over the years, including lab systems, AR management, credit card processing, Coggins, HISA, and many other workflow enhancement tools.
